Occasionally, the Armor 21 may fail to turn on after being charged, especially if the battery has been fully drained for an extended period. To troubleshoot this issue, ensure the device is securely connected to its original charger and wait for about 10 minutes before attempting to power it on. If you are using a wireless charging dock, try charging the device directly with the USB-C cable. Check for any dirt or debris in the charging port, as this can hinder connection despite the device's IP68/IP69K dust and water resistance.
Check out the full list of trouble shooting steps you can take below:
Check the battery:
Secure connection: Plug the device into its original charger and ensure the cable is properly connected to the USB-C port.
Wait: If the battery is fully drained, wait about 10 minutes before attempting to power it on.
Direct charging: If you’re using a wireless charging dock, try charging it directly with the USB-C cable instead.
Inspect the port: Check for any dirt or debris in the charging port. The Armor 21 is water and dust-resistant (IP68/IP69K-certified), but debris can still accumulate and block the connection.
Force restart:
Press and hold the Power button for 20–30 seconds to force the device to restart.
If there’s no response, press and hold Power + Volume Down together for a few seconds.
Check for physical damage or water exposure:
While the Armor 21 is rugged and designed to resist water, dust, and shocks, inspect the charging port, screen, or power button for visible damage.
If the device was exposed to salt water or corrosive substances for an extended period, internal components might have been affected despite its robust design.
Enter recovery mode:
Press and hold Power + Volume Up for a few seconds to try booting into recovery mode.
If successful, use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select the option to reboot the device.
Of course, if you are still having a problem after you've completed these steps let us know, the support team can check if the device is under warranty or help you start a repair ticket.
