The Titan Rewards Program lets participating Titan-branded FBOs award points to customers when they purchase fuel. Rewards are linked directly to invoices in X-1, making it simple for your team to issue and track them.

Below is everything you need to know about how Titan Rewards work in X-1, including setup, permissions, awarding points, and important limitations.

Who Can Use Titan Rewards?

  • Titan Branded FBOs Only – The program is only available to Titan-branded locations that have opted in to Titan Rewards.

  • System Participation – X-1 does not validate whether an FBO participates, so Titan Rewards should only be enabled for confirmed participating merchants by selecting "Titan" as your Fuel Branding in FBO Settings > FBO Profile.

  • One Program at a Time – Each FBO can only use one rewards program at a time, based on their assigned fuel branding.

Awarding Titan Rewards

  • From the Invoice – Rewards can only be assigned during the transaction, directly from the invoice.

  • Fuel Required – An invoice must include a fuel line item for points to be awarded. Non-fuel purchases do not qualify.

  • Before Payment – Rewards must be awarded before the invoice is finalized and payment is processed. Once the invoice is closed, points cannot be added later.

  • Online Payments - The Rewards button only displays for online payments made through the Titan-MSA processor. Cash, Direct Bill, and offline payments will not display the Rewards button.

💡If you proceed to payment without awarding points the system will display a reminder stating that points must be assigned before submitting.

If you don't intend on awarding points, then just click "Continue" if you do want to award points, just hit "cancel" to go back to the invoice to award the points.

  • Bonus Points – By default, customers earn 1 point per gallon, but you can award 1–10 points per gallon using the bonus points dropdown. This option is available to anyone who can process a transaction.

Permissions and Access

  • Awarding Points – If your FBO branding is set to Titan, any user with permission to create and finalize transactions will automatically be able to issue Titan Rewards points.

  • Voiding or Refunding – If a transaction is voided or refunded, the associated rewards points are automatically reversed. Points cannot be voided on their own. So if you made a mistake with the points, you'll need to Void or refund the invoice and startover.

  • Viewing & Printing Rewards – Users with the Rewards Page permission under Customer Service can view reward details and print Titan Rewards receipts.

Authorized users can view Titan Rewards on the Customer Service Rewards page, which shows:

  • Reward reference number

  • Customer name/recipient

  • Points awarded

  • Associated invoice information

You can also print or email a receipt for the customer if needed.

Refunds and Redemptions

  • If Points Haven’t Been Redeemed – Refunding or voiding a transaction will remove the associated Titan Rewards points.

💡There is not a way to confirm if points have been redeemed in X-1.

  • If Points Have Been Redeemed – Titan does not remove already-redeemed points, even if the transaction is refunded.

  • Visibility After Payment – After payment is complete, the reward button remains visible for reference, but rewards can no longer be edited.

What You Cannot Do with Titan Rewards

To keep the program consistent with Titan’s requirements, some features are not supported in X-1:

  • ❌ No standalone rewards – Points must always be tied to a fuel transaction.

  • ❌ No manual adjustments – Points can’t be added or removed outside of a transaction.

  • ❌ No card swipe – Titan issues physical reward cards, but swiping them is not supported in X-1.

  • ❌ No non-fuel rewards – Only transactions with fuel qualify.

Key Takeaway: Titan Rewards in X-1 are always linked to a fuel transaction at the time of invoicing. If your FBO branding is set to Titan and your location participates in the program, awarding rewards is a seamless part of processing fuel sales.
