FlightBridge Requests: (NOTAIL)

No Tail Number? No Problem. You can now receive and process incoming FlightBridge requests even when a tail number isn’t provided.

This enhancement removes a common blocker when aircraft details aren’t finalized at the time a request is submitted—helping you keep operations moving without delays or workarounds.

Why This Matters

In real‑world operations, the tail number isn’t always known up front—especially for managed fleets, charter operations, or last‑minute aircraft swaps.

Previously, FlightBridge requests without a tail number:

  • Didn’t appear in X‑1FBO, or

  • Couldn’t be accepted or synced successfully

Now, those same requests come through cleanly and reliably, so your team can take action right away.

What’s New

With this update:

  • ✅ Incoming FlightBridge requests no longer require a tail number

  • ✅ Requests without aircraft information now appear normally in your Incoming Requests queue

  • ✅ You can accept and sync the request successfully

  • ✅ Aircraft details can be added later, once available

Best of all—no setup or configuration is required. This behavior is enabled automatically.

How NOTAIL Requests Work

When a FlightBridge request is received without a tail number:

  1. The request appears in Incoming Requests just like any other.

  2. You’ll be prompted to map or select the customer.

  3. Even if the aircraft field is blank, the request can be accepted and synced.

  4. Once the tail number is known, you can update the aircraft details at any time.

No interruptions. No rejected requests. No extra steps.

Common Scenarios This Supports

This enhancement is especially helpful when:

  • Aircraft assignments are confirmed closer to arrival

  • Multiple aircraft may be used interchangeably

  • Reservations are submitted before tail numbers are finalized

  • High‑volume or managed flight programs need flexibility

If you’ve ever thought, “We’ll get the tail number later,” — this feature was built for you.

Good to Know

  • A tail number is not required to receive or accept the request

  • The aircraft can still be added or updated later

  • This applies specifically to incoming FlightBridge requests

  • No permissions, toggles, or database settings are needed

In Summary

✅ Requests without tail numbers are now supported
✅ Operations stay moving—even with incomplete aircraft info
✅ Cleaner workflows, fewer blockers, happier teams
