How to Clear Your Cache in Google Chrome

Every now and then, your browser may need a little cleanup to keep things running smoothly. Below are quick and simple steps to clear your cache in Google Chrome without losing important information like passwords or form data.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Open Chrome Settings

Click the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser window.

2. Select "Delete Browsing Data"

Hover over "More tools" in the menu, then click "Delete browsing data..." from the submenu.

3. Go to the "Advanced" Tab

In the pop-up window, switch to the Advanced tab for more control over what gets deleted.

4. Choose What to Clear

Make sure to uncheck everything except the following options:

  • Passwords and other sign-in data

  • Autofill form data

  • Site Settings

✅ This will ensure your saved logins and preferences remain intact.

5. Click "Clear Data"

Once you've selected the appropriate options, click "Clear data" to complete the process.

Step 4: Hit the Clear button and you're good to go!
