The Daily Close is a way to keep a record of your daily physical fuel inventory and 'close' the day with what you are left in your trucks and tanks, so that the numbers are accurate and ready for the first fueling the next day.

Steps of how to do a Daily Close:

  • Go to Fuel Management

  • Choose - Dashboard, Fuel Farm, Refueler or Daily Close

  • Click on the top-right (Daily Close)

  • Enter recorded physical trucks, meter values and physical balance

As best practice to review the Breaks and Overlap meter report before starting the daily close. This way you will be able to review it before noticing that there is existing errors in the operation.

Please select the date,

Keep in mind that the Daily Close operation can be exported to Excel. From the same screen that shows what X1 had and which information was entered.

Steps,

  • Go to Fuel Management

  • Select- Daily Close

  • Click on information button (right-side)

  • Choose PDF

So, what does the Daily Close do as an operation in X-1?

  • update meter reading for each truck/tank unless the operation is backdated.

  • reflects on the Last Physical Entered section on the Dashboard

  • can be closed with a past date (to record a missing Daily Close)

  • DOES NOT UPDATE SYSTEM INVENTORY BALANCES
