Steps

  1. Get in the truck, make sure it is on, and the meter(s) have fully booted up. That one is important, it can take several minutes after the truck starts for the registers to fully boot.

  2. On the X-1 SinglePoint device, create a new fueling or accept a pending fueling

  3. While the X-1 Cloud Connect starts the process and reads "Meters Connecting", start connecting your hoses and bonding cables.

  4. While you are getting setup for the fueling the "Meters Ready" screen should have come on, press start on the meter(s) to begin fueling

  5. Once fueling is completed, press 'Stop' on the physical meter register

  6. Wrap up your fueling, disconnect hoses and bonding cables, close-up fuel caps or panels.

  7. While you are doing that the fuel ticket is being uploaded to the cloud and your X-1 SinglePoint device. It could take anywhere from about 20-40 seconds depending on signal quality (if you don't get the result, you may "Refresh" to check again).

  8. Your X-1 SinglePoint should have the fueling totalizer numbers and gallons delivered populated on the screen, very the amounts and ending meter number and Press 'Submit' on the X-1 SinglePoint device and you're ready for the next fueling.

Some notes and cautions

Wait for the registers to boot up: It is important to wait for the registers to be fully powered on before accepting fuelings, if the meter is not completely booted by the time X-1 SinglePoint is 'connecting the meter(s)', allow a moment for the register to power on and connect. Do not press the physical Start button until SinglePoint displays "Meters Ready."

X-1 SinglePoint not updating when fueling is completed: This often involves the quality of the signal (cellular). If the fueling information is not available or you didn't get the submit screen on X-1 SinglePoint device after about 60 sec, or so you can tap "Manual Entry" and type the fueling details to create a manual ticket that will also be sent to X-1FBO.
