What is a Transportation product/service in X-1?

  • It is a set of products linked to the Transportation product category and includes rentals, car and driver services, taxis, etc.

  • All services related to this category reflect under the same service request icon:

How do you make them sellable to bill them on a customer's invoice?

  • They each need to be set up individually under FBO Settings/Products and Services

  • They each need their own Master Name

  • They need to be marked "sellable'

Note: there must be a separate product with the Master Name "Transportation" to serve as the parent item for each of the transportation types.

Here is an example of how the product 'Shuttle' is set up, added onto a service request and then billed on an invoice:

  1. Add "shuttle' as a new product

  • Select the corresponding Master Name (hint: it is the same name as the product's)

  • Make it 'Sellable' and select "from Request to Invoice: As Service or Item", then fill out the rest of the product details and pricing :)

2. How to use 'Shuttle' on the service request for invoicing purposes:

  • Select 'Add to Invoice" (required for billing)

  • Only use the 'Invoice Amount' box if you want to add a manual price (commission is optional), otherwise let the system pull the pricing rule automatically once invoice is created

3. Create new invoice from request:
