To activate the contract fuel company inventory based on the selected fuel type, simply follow these steps:

1. Choose the company that owns the fuel inventory from the contract fuel profile.

2. Select the specific fuel type you want to associate with this company.

3. Save your selections.

This action will trigger the activation of the contract fuel company inventory for the chosen fuel type. This enables the company to seamlessly receive fuel loads and automatically switch fuel tickets inventory once the invoice is paid with contract fuel. By completing these straightforward steps, you streamline the process and ensure efficient management of fuel inventory within the contract fuel system.

Pricing

To add a new price rule under the Fees rules category for contract fuel management, follow these steps:

1. Select the fuel type owned by the contract fuel.
2. Set the start date for the deal.
3. Add the Contract Fuel condition specifying the company name.
4. Base the price on the week's cost.
5. Enter zero in the manual cost section to exclude owned fuel cost for FBOs.
6. Enter a value for any fee per gallon pumped, and add tiers if necessary.
7. To automatically add a line item to the invoice, such as a Storage Fee:
a. Navigate to the Add Product section of the price rule.
b. Add the fee and specify a value if different from a set price.
c. If the fee is per gallon, leave the Quantity box empty to calculate based on fuel gallons pumped.

By following these detailed instructions, you can effectively set up a new price rule within the Fees rules category for contract fuel management, ensuring accurate invoicing and fee calculations for FBOs.

Tax exemptions:

Contract fuel owned inventory is exempt from cost taxes as the customer paid those when purchasing the fuel. Create a tax exemption for each cost tax at your location under Pricing/Tax Settings/ Tax Exemptions tab.

With the setup of the contract fuel owned inventory completed, you are now ready to efficiently manage inventory, create fuel tickets, and generate invoices.

Inventory:

Receive contract fuel inventory by entering a fuel load under - Fuel Management placing gallons in the FBO fuel tanks.

In the case of contract fuel inventory, the fuel ticket switches inventory automatically to deplete from the contract fuel upon the invoice is paid with the contract fuel.
