Tax Exemptions allow certain customers or transactions to be exempt from paying specific taxes. This can apply to organizations like government agencies, nonprofits, or other qualified entities that are legally exempt from taxes.
For example, a government customer might be exempt from paying certain sales taxes due to their classification. By marking these customers as exempt, X-1 ensures that taxes are not applied to their transactions automatically. For example:
Prepay Tax refers to the scenario where taxes are calculated and paid in advance for a product or service, typically for fuel or other regulated commodities. In X-1, the prepay tax feature is useful when taxes need to be collected at the time of sale, even though the service or product delivery may occur later.
Technically the FBO pays for it when they purchase the fuel, in the fuel load payable.
This ensures that the correct taxes are calculated upfront, preventing discrepancies or missed payments.
