Unlinking the fuel ticket from the original invoice manually is sometimes required in order to rebill without errors.

Resolving the “Fuel is already billed” Message

When you receive the message “Fuel is already billed” after crediting the original invoice, it typically means the fuel ticket is still linked to that invoice.

No problem—this is a quick fix


🔧 How to Unlink the Fuel Ticket

  1. Navigate to Fuel ManagementFuel Inventory

  2. Locate the fuel transaction

    • Use Ticket # or Tail # for faster results

  3. Select the grid (checkerboard) menu

  4. Click Unlink Invoice


✅ Next Steps

Once the fuel ticket is unlinked, you can:

  • Link it to a new invoice

  • Proceed with processing the payment as usual

If you continue to see the message after unlinking, it may be worth double-checking that the correct transaction was selected.
